Growing up to like science
From an early age, my father instilled in me a deep passion for scientific exploration. As the owner of a pharmacy, he provided me with constant exposure to a laboratory environment, where I gradually delved into the world of everyday science. His influence and guidance have continuously inspired me to pursue excellence in the field of science.
Speaking up for the 'dream gap'
The dream gap is a phenomenon that begins around the age of five, when young girls may start to feel that their abilities are limited, which can influence their aspirations for the future. However, awareness of this issue has led to inspiring efforts to empower girls, encouraging them to embrace their full potential. By providing positive role models, fostering confidence, and creating opportunities for growth, we can help close the dream gap and ensure that every girl believes she is capable of achieving anything she sets her mind to.
